Hey Lads!
How are things there?! We are in Thailand right now, in Kho Chang exactly, in an Island in the south east. A great great great place! We will post an update about Thailand another day...
Our short stay in HK was enjoyable and interesting but we were both not really seduced by the City/Island itself. How can I explain....? Too much will be a good word, too much noise, pollution, building, shopping centres, people.....??? We stayed in a quite bad area in front of the Island, Kowloon, the cool thing is that we had to get the ferry to go to HK everyday so we could enjoy the show of sounds and lights at night time or just the view!
It was interesting to have an idea of how the everyday life is over there but it will drive us just crazy, people do actually look stressed and I understand.. it never stops... even at night, the city is jammed with cars, bus, trams, people...
We visited a few temples and went for parks and botanical gardens to have a break of the city! We also went to the famous place called The Peak, a 552 m point to admire the whole city. It was really nice!
The food is very different that what we get in Europe, the meat was kind of ...different! We had loads and loads of rice and noodles!
Guys, we'll update with Thailand soon, alright?! So far, we just love Thailand, Thai people, Thai food and Thai weather, apart from today as... it's raining... I swear!! Anyway, it gave us time to give you some news like!
